Since I hate Twitter, I started a blog.

Since I hate Twitter, I started a blog.

A while back, I wrote a short thread on Twitter highlighting all the issues with the platform. The irony? I posted it on Twitter.

So, to keep things balanced, I’m sharing it here as well.

7 reasons why I hate X.

Reason 1: The quality of information is simply shit

The #1 source of info is @MarioNawfal that:

• Tweet things Elon likes (you can choose from: Tesla is the best car, Trump is good, Argentina is improving, Europe is shit, Ukraine wants war...)
• Get retweeted by Elon, who will add a strong opinion like "That's concerning."
• Promote some shitcoin and rug.

This is the sophisticated algo behind Mario Nawfal tweets

Reason 2: Rage bait (usually fake) always works

1M for The great Steavie Ravioli

Here's an example I couldn't mention before to avoid a shitstorm. A company (@OXFUNHQ) was almost destroyed by a tweet from Steavie Ravioli
• No source
• Nobody checked
• 1M views

I guess everyone is happy now that JefeDao got is $1M back.
By the way, the first thing he did was promote a rug.

Reason 3: Copycat AI content always works

Did you already saw this kind of content am I right?

This is the state of the art of information:

• Claim you're making so much passive income that, if it were real, you'd be richer than Elon in less than a year (nobody checks).
• Post a fake screenshot.
• Drop a link to your Telegram.

Congrats, now you have an audience, and sponsors will reach out to you (they're not checking either)

Reason 4: X is full of hate

I am a nice and calm guy looking for genuine interactions. But whenever someone disagrees with me, the response is always something like: You have a small IQ or You're poor.

I’d love to see someone disagree and start a constructive conversation. That has literally never happened since I opened my account.

I want to interact with real people, not NPCs who can’t put together a three-word sentence without saying gay or retard (which, by the way, isn’t even funny anymore)

The average commentary

Reason 5: Disabled account

Your account might be disabled without explanation, causing you to lose all your progress and audience.
This has happened to many meme coin accounts, with the most notable example being Mitch.

Examples:
@retardiosolana
@spx6900
@idrawline

Reason 6: Account hacked out of nowhere

Some accounts, like @weremeow, @pumpdotfun, and @shawmakesmagic, have been hacked.

The problem is that they have no idea why it happened, as there were no visible security issues. This leads to conspiracy theories, which I don't really like ( I am not Elon).

But this was more to introduce the next topic.

Reason 7: Non existing customer support

Well, if they block or hack your account for no reason, you can always open a support ticket, right?

Completely wrong. Ask @WazzBack. He lost his account on 18/02 and has been unable to get any help from customer service. Nobody knows if he'll ever get it back.

Reason 8: So why are you posting this on X?

Because I’m forced to by the network effect—everyone is here. I can connect with CEOs of good companies and some interesting accounts (I feel like the best content comes from accounts with 2K to 10K followers).

I know I’m not the only one who thinks this way.

I’ll keep posting here, but long-term, I need an alternative.

Do I have a credible option? I’d accept a smaller reach for a healthier environment
